Should I choose PMP or CAPM first?
Choose CAPM if you do not meet the PMP experience requirement, since no amount of coursework substitutes for the 3 to 5 years PMP demands. CAPM also counts toward the PMP training requirement later, so it is a step on the path rather than a detour.
